AUA is a hospital-integrated university in the Caribbean where you begin your clinical experience starting in your first semester. We strongly believe in mentoring students by providing a close faculty-to-student interaction. Small class sizes enhance learning and the interaction between students and their professors. It is our pledge to never have more than 120 students per classroom. This is unique among the Caribbean medical schools which helps maximize student’s learning experience. In addition, the outstanding experience of our U.S. and international faculty meets the highest standards of modern education. Our comprehensive modern classrooms and learning facility are designed for students who aspire to become highly skilled, compassionate physicians and nurses and plan to practice medicine and nursing throughout Canada, the United States and the Caribbean region. AUA represents the realization of the commitment made by the founding group of American physicians, nurses and medical education professionals, together with Manipal University to create a truly world class educational institution.
