  • More than 7,000 graduates are practising in every specialty and subspecialty of medicine, and in all areas of veterinary medicine across the globe.
  • Approximately 25 percent of medical graduates go on to become Chief Residents in their last year of residency training programmes.
  • Veterinary graduates score on par with graduates from US institutions. Last year, six SGU graduates passed the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons statutory licensing examination – out of a total of 12 who passed in the entire United Kingdom.

Curriculum

  • St. George’s University provides a range of entry options and an extensive, firm foundation to students with varied academic qualifications in the four- to seven-year programmes that lead to the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or the Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
  • Students in either school may consider joint degrees, such as the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine/Master of Public Health (DVM/MPH) degree, or the Doctor of Medicine/Master of Science (MD/MSc) degree.
  • The University’s allied Windward Islands Research and Education Foundation draws researchers from round the world, working in collaboration with prestigious North American, European, Caribbean and African institutions.

Grenada Campus

  • The wireless-enhanced, state-of-the-art True Blue Campus is an architectural masterpiece on the southwestern corner of Grenada, on a peninsula overlooking the Caribbean Sea.
