Peirce College, you can take all of your courses online, earning
100% of your degree without having to commute, worry about
parking, class availability, or missing a class. Classes are
not held at a specific time, you can log in at anytime during
the course, from anywhere you have access to the internet.
All interaction is conducted asynchronously, like e-mail,
so you participate at your convenience.
This
benefit to online learning also gives you the ability to consider
information and formulate a response before posting it. Classes
begin every 3 1/2 weeks and are 7 weeks in length, allowing
you to finish an Associate's degree in 18 months or Bachelor's
degree in an additional 18 months.

can utilize the internet to research and study class materials.
Once enrolled, you can retrieve lectures, questions, and
assignments from your instructor, and then work off-line.
- You
and your instructor get to know each other through email
communications and threaded discussions with the entire

Enrollment
Can
I go Part Time?
Yes! As an online student at Peirce College, you have the
flexibility to attend 1 class, or a full course load. Peirce
requires transcripts before the end of your 5th class. You
will need to send transcripts to become a matriculated (enrolled,
degree-seeking) student.
What happens in a Typical Class?
- You
are given a log on and user ID# to access the virtual classroom.
- You
will see a syllabus, which will take you through the course,
week by week.
- Papers
and projects will be attached and e-mailed to the instructor.
- Tests
are taken on-line. Once the time allotted for the test expires,
the computer automatically sends the exam to the instructor.
- Communication
takes place with the instructor and your classmates through
message boards/chat rooms and e-mail, direct to the instructor.
- The
instructor will set weekly deadlines for assignments, but
there are no specific time requirements. When you do the
work during the week is up to you.
- Textbooks
are ordered through a virtual bookstore, and sent directly
to you.
- Utilize
the online Library for research and support documentation.
