As
a « Grande Ecole », SUPAERO is a public
institution of higher education placed under the authority
of the Ministry of Defence. It offers a three-year
program geared to aeronautics and space and more generally
to the high-tech industry.
Students
wanting to enter SUPAERO must attend the « classes
préparatoires » which are specific two-year undergraduate
programs with intensive training in scientific subjects.
At the end of the « classes préparatoires »
they must take a selective nation-wide competitive
examination and be admitted to a Grande Ecole according
to their ranking. There, their engineering studies
last three years including two years of general training
in engineering, one year of specialization and internships
in companies.
SUPAERO
ranks fourth in the classification of French Grandes
Ecoles.
Foreign
students holders of an academic undergraduate degree
may apply to SUPAERO through a selective admission
process.
SUPAERO
also welcomes French and foreign students for a one-year
program leading to a « Mastère de la Conférence
des Grandes Ecoles ».
SUPAERO'S
worldwide network : european and international
dimensions
SUPAERO
cooperates with numerous academic institutions and
industries in the aerospace field worldwide. Students

E. C. countries, the U.S.A., Canadas, Japan, Australie,
Russia and so on.
SUPAERO'S
MSc in Aerospace Engineering : the best passport
to international aerospace industry
Considering
the growing demand from students for higher education
programs offering the opportunity to get double diplomas,
and from companies to enroll young engineers having
a multinational academic background, SUPAERO is opening
an MSc in aerospace engineering taught in English.
Exams will be taken in French or English.
This
program offers two options : aeronautics and space.
It is part of SUPAERO's three-year program. It begins
on the second semester of the second year and ends
at the end of the third year, after the end-of-studies
project in industry.
This
program is intended for foreign students who have
more facilities in English than in French, and as
part of the main SUPAERO program, is also taught to
French students.

Facilities
SUPAERO
also offers exceptional language learning facilities.
Ten languages are taught on the campus by more than
fifty permanent and temporary teachers.
Outstanding
sports equipment (an indoor swimming-pool, ten tennis
courts, football and rugby grounds, etc.) and easy
access to the sports university next door, make it
easy for students to practise all activities they
may dream of.
