The university offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in the areas of Business Administration and Communication and Media. The undergraduate programs last four years and the graduate programs one year. The university is accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), USA. The student body is composed of 41 nationalities. The multicultural and dynamic environment of the university and the international faculty contribute to create a framework in which the student acquires global experience. The programs have been designed to create a sound balance between theoretical foundations and practical applications. The International University in Geneva emphasizes the importance of interpersonal skills, such as leadership, communication and the ability to work in a multicultural team. These skills are encouraged through active participation and regular presentations in class. Students are expected to have achieved working knowledge of a foreign language in addition to English by the time they have completed their studies. The faculty have practical experience in industry and business combined with an academic background.
