Lipscomb
University also offers master's degree programs in Business
Administration, with concentrations in Accounting, Financial
Services, Leadership, Health Care Management, Non-Profit
Management; Bible (Master of Arts and Master of Divinity);
and Education, with concentrations in Institutional
Leadership and School Administration and Supervision.
Requirements
and Other Features
- International
students must file an "International Student
Application" and meet most of the admission requirements
of United States citizens. An entrance exam is not
required, but SAT is recommended. In addition to materials
requested of citizen applicants, international students
must submit a TOEFL score (500 is required.
- Applicants
must provide a course-by-course report from an approved
evaluation service on all their academic records from
school, colleges and universities located outside
the United States. One such approved evaluation service
is World Educational Services, P.O. Box 01-5060, Miami,
FL 33101 USA, 305-358-6688, www.wes.org.
- Students
must supply proof of financial status to cover at
least one year's tuition and living costs ($15,348
for year 2000-2001). An emergency travel fund deposit
of $1000 is required and will be held in the student's
account for the duration of his/her studies. International
students are required to pay, in full, for their first
semester before an I-20 will be issued. Financial
aid opportunities are available but limited and based
on scholastic achievements primarily.
- International
students must make application at least six months
prior to the date of entrance with a non-refundable
application fee of $100.00. International students
are required to show proof of year-round health coverage,
which is available at Lipscomb campus if necessary.
