What is CPE?
The CPE is the most advanced General English Exam provided by the University of Cambridge. It is set at C2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Who is CPE for?
Those who have achieved a high level of language skills and are able to function effectively in almost any English-speaking context. The CPE is for those whose level of English is supposed to be to a similar stand to that of a fairly educated native speaker of English.

How do I register?
Contact an authorised Cambridge ESOL exam centre - entries cannot be made directly to Cambridge.
When can I take the test?
Each component of the test is offered twice every year, in June and December.
How is the test scored?
There are 3 pass grades (A, B and C).
Certificates are awarded to those who achieve these grades.
D or E grades haven't reached the required standard and therefore do not receive certificates.
Cambridge ESOL mark and grade the tests and the results are sent back to the centres.
How long is my qualification valid for?
Cambridge ESOL CPE certificates are valid for life.
