Academic Entry Requirements
Undergraduate
candidates must show an equivalent to the Irish Leaving Certificate
or A level (UK system ) requirements.
Postgraduate Entry requirements
are the equivalent to an Irish or UK bachelor's degree
at honours level in a discipline relevant to the postgraduate
degree sought.

English Language Requirements:
Students from non-English speaking countries
must show proof of English language proficiency.
Application Dates:
Please note that early
application is strongly advised.
Completed undergraduate applications should reach the University
of Limerick before June June 9th} (students over 23 should
apply before April 1st) for September entry
Postgraduate application dates vary from April 1st to June
9th for September entry.
Students should allow 4-6 weeks for applications to be processed
by the University.

All Non-EU students are advised to contact their

for advice on visa requirements.
General visa requirements include:

Valid passport number

Date of issue and expiry of passport

Date, place and mode of arrival in Ireland

Letter from the University/College indicating that.
(i) they have been offered a place in a recognised educational
establishment and, (ii) that one year's tuition fees have
been paid

Letter indicating the source of funding to cover fees
and maintenance
-
Recent passport photographs
-
Visa application fee.
Non EU students are required to hold medical
Insurance while in Ireland. Students may extend current health
insurance policies. Policies are also available from the following
Irish Health insurance companies:
