The University of Edinburgh Management School is consistently
ranked among the top of its kind in the UK. The Edinburgh
MBA is rated as one of the leading programmes in Europe and
has an international reputation for excellence.

The aim of the Edinburgh MBA is to assist students to progress
with confidence and competence to an executive management
position. The programme is a general management course that
covers all key management disciplines and allows specialisation
across a wide range of specialist areas. Personal Skills and
Career Development Programmes play a key role.
The Edinburgh MBA is available as:
- 12 month full-time programme
- 15 month MBA in international business programme
- 30 month part-time programme taught in the evenings
The full-time MBA incorporates direct workplace experience
in consultancy projects for local organisations. The MBA in
international business, delivered in partnership with several
international institutions, includes an international work
placement.

All Edinburgh MBA courses are accredited by the Association
of MBAs. Only a minority of MBA providers in the UK have this
distinction for all of their courses and it is increasingly
important to potential employers.

The School has excellent working accommodation with fully
networked computer facilities available exclusively to MBA
students 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Management
Research Access Centre Learning Environment (MIRACLE) acts
as the centre of the Schools knowledge base, providing
an online hub of course text books, business journals and
company reports. The website supports all courses and acts
as a comprehensive portal for accessing management and business
resources.
The Career and Alumni Centre has recently been created to
co-ordinate the Career Management Programme and to further
enhance our alumni services.

Over 60 teaching staff drawn from 15 different countries
provide a wealth of international teaching, research and consultancy
experience. Extensive research links exist between the Management
School staff and industry, with leading business figures regularly
acting as guest speakers on the MBA.
