Start your future in business
with a professional qualification from ICAEW
The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) is a world leader of the accountancy and finance profession, with over 136,000 members in over 166 countries worldwide. Members of ICAEW have completed the ACA qualification, are entitled to call themselves ICAEW Chartered Accountants, and use the letters ACA after their name. It’s a sign that inspires confidence wherever they work in the world.
Opportunity, variety and the ability to work in any industry, anywhere in the world are just some of the benefits of becoming an ICAEW Chartered Accountant. It also means you are recognised as being at the top of your chosen profession. It shows you have gained the work experience, financial intelligence and skills the business world demands, not just the academic and theoretical knowledge.
Business leaders from around the world hold the ACA designation, including nearly 5,000 members in Europe. You’ll find ICAEW Chartered Accountants working at the highest levels - they are the finance directors, CEOs and partners of some of the world’s largest organisations.
HOW TO BECOME AN ICAEW CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT
In order to become an ICAEW Chartered Accountant, you will need to complete the ACA qualification and we are now taking registrations for the ACA in Romania. The ACA takes between three and five years to complete and you do it while you are working, so not only will you gain a professional qualification, you will earn a great salary too.
It combines four essential elements: exams, technical work experience, initial professional development and structured training in ethics. Together, these four elements give you the expertise and added-value skills that help define a chartered accountant. You must successfully complete all four elements to qualify as an ACA and become a member of ICAEW.
We welcome university graduates on to the ACA programme; however your degree does not necessarily need to be in the field of business or finance. It can be a recognised degree in any discipline. We provide credits for some of our modules for graduates from universities such as ASE. Individuals with other professional qualifications or experience (such as ACCA, CIMA etc) can also study for the ACA.
THE CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT. NO ONE’S BETTER QUALIFIED
