European Business School London (EBS London) is the UK's largest private business school. International Focus

BA (Hons) International Events Management
The EBS London BA (Hons) International Events Management is a 3.5 years degree that aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills relating to all stages in the events management process through conceptualising and planning the project, and through operational, financial, economic and events marketing.

Career prospects in this sector are diverse: there are event managers, who are the project managers for a specific event and oversee the whole process to ensure the event meets the client’s brief and budget. There is a more creative element undertaken by the creative director or team to develop themes and specific ideas to brand the event and make it memorable. Production and technical staff set up stages and arenas; there are health and safety and licensing specialists; marketing and PR officers; and a small army of front of house events staff and supervisors. The degree offered by EBS is designed to ensure you have a choice as to the direction of your career and provides an insight into the overall dynamic of the sector.

Foreign Language Study
The international dimension is a theme running through all aspects of the course; all students on this programme will study an international language. Our award-winning language department offers a choice of 9 languages, all available at beginner, intermediate and advanced level: French; German; Spanish; Italian; Russian; Japanese; Mandarin Chinese; Portuguese and Arabic.

Study Period Abroad
During the degree all students will spend a two semester study period abroad at one of our overseas partner institutions; in each semester 2 elective modules will be taken in the field of International Events Management. These modules will be taken in the student’s choice of foreign language, as studied in the first three semesters of the programme.

Work Experience
The European Business School London has extensive links companies worldwide, and a team of dedicated career and guidance professionals offering personal support. All students on the programme will undertake a minimum of 36 weeks of work experience throughout the duration of the degree – these internships can be completed in several countries, and will offer unparalleled insight into the Events Management sector.

In addition, we create and distribute our Graduate Profiles Portfolio to thousands of companies worldwide, ensuring that we showcase our talented and highly qualified graduates to prospective employers.

Elective Modules
Students have a wide choice of relevant supporting elective subjects in media technology; gastronomy; writing for the media; visual arts and society; culture and tourism; design; press relations; events and luxury branding; and service marketing.
