Tuition Fees in Malaysia

Explore tuition fees in Malaysia for bachelor's degrees and find the right bachelors degree at the right tuition cost for you.

Tuition fees in Malaysia are comparatively low for undergraduate degrees with public universities being the cheapest option with fees falling between RM8,000 and RM10,000 on average.

Undergraduate degrees at foreign branch universities will, on average, fall between RM40,000 and RM80,000 with degrees in Medicine coming in higher at around RM325,000.

Private universities are more cost effective although higher than public universities for undergraduate degrees.

There are not many scholarship opportunities offered by the Malaysian government for international students, however you may have better luck looking into the programs offered by specific universities.

Your own country

You might be able to find study abroad funding from local government or companies based in your home country. A good way to find out is to contact your local government office or find their website and see what they recommend.

Also, research large companies in your home country that might offer study funding assistance and contact them about opportunities. However, it is worth considering that they may require you to return home after your studies to work for them.
