Bachelor Degree In Ireland

Find the right Bachelor Degree in Ireland with our comprehensive guide.

As with many other countries in Europe, standard undergraduate degrees in Ireland last for three or four years.

As in much of the western world, the Irish higher education system follows the bachelors/masters route.

This means students achieve one of the following:

BA - Bachelor of Arts
BSc - Bachelor of Science

The majority of undergraduate degrees in Ireland are taught in English.

Entry requirements vary across different institutions and courses so you need to research exactly what is expected from your application. In most cases you will need to have completed some form of upper secondary education and have a proven proficiency in English.

UK or European Union students need to apply via the Central Applications Office (CAO). Applicants from outside the EU will need to apply directly to the university online or by sending an application form through the post.
