Our Specialist Masters programmes

Cass Business SchoolThe specialist training at Cass includes finance, real estate, management, actuarial sciences, insurance and shipping, backed by world-class teaching, research and resources. Cass has the largest finance faculty in Europe, offering courses in accounting, banking, valuation, asset management and other niche financial disciplines.

Many of our courses provide professional exemptions which fast-track your career progress. For example, by doing our one-year MSc in Actuarial Science, you save four years training for professional qualifications.

Teaching approach
Employers look for people with specialist expertise but also with the personal and commercial skills to stand out from the competition. Having an international perspective and being able to think and work across cultures is often essential.

Teaching at Cass uses an integrated approach, where students learn through staff lectures, case studies, group work and most importantly, student participation.

State-of-the-art learning facilities
Opened in 2003, the Bunhill Row building is a bright and flexible space designed to encourage a free flow of people and ideas.

A 200-seat lecture theatre, equipped with the very latest audio and visual technology, is the forum for more formal teaching and major public lectures by academics and business practitioners.

The Cyril Kleinwort Learning Resource Centre combines library and computing services to support all business and management teaching, learning and research.

Working in the real world
Many of Cass’s students move into careers in the financial services sector, including London’s trading houses. Understanding dealing screens and how to use the information they provide is a key skill. Our Reuters and Bloomberg dealing rooms take you as close to the real thing as possible.
