Colchester has it all

Colchester Institute is the largest provider of vocational education and training in Essex. Colchester is Britain's oldest recorded town, rich in history and heritage. It is ideally placed for discovering the eastern region of England, travelling perhaps to Cambridge, cycling through Constable Country, or rural Suffolk and Essex. With the attractions of London less than an hour away by train, you can experience the benefits of our capital combined with the more friendly aspects of Colchester life and a more reasonable cost of living.

Colchester has a large student population as the University of Essex, with approximately 6,700 students, is located just outside the town. It is a unique blend of ancient and modern with its Norman castle and museums, alongside clubs, pubs and restaurants, a multi-screen cinema and multi-million pound sports and leisure centre. The college is situated near the town centre, about a ten minute walk from the High Street. You can find out more information on Colchester itself visit www.colchester.co.uk
