The Carnegie Faculty of Sport & Education
at Leeds Metropolitan University is one of the leading providers
of sport, leisure and education degree programmes in Britain. The
Faculty is situated on the Headingley Campus, some 3 miles north
of Leeds City Centre and close to the world-famous Headingley Stadium.
Our programmes are intellectually challenging as well as practical
and oriented towards the real world, reflecting our extensive links
with sport, leisure and education. We maintain strong links with
many sports governing bodies and major clubs, providing students
with a wide range of work place opportunities and experience. Leeds
Metropolitan University graduates have an enviable record in obtaining
employment, and many of our graduates now hold senior positions

Sports Facilities
The Faculty manages a range pf top class
sporting facilities on the Headingley campus including new state-of-the-art
sports science laboratories; indoor tennis centre; international
gymnastics centre; all-weather athletics track; swimming pool;
synthetic turf pitches; fitness suite; indoor sports halls and
gymnasia; and extensive sport fields.
