The University is located on a compact campus in parkland facing the sea near the city centre. Swansea is only 35 miles from Cardiff, the capital of Wales, and has direct road and rail links to London and all the major cities in the UK.

Life in Swansea costs a great deal less than other cities in the UK. Accommodation in particular is a lot cheaper, and all halls of residence offer a telephone and an internet connection point free of charge.

Freshers week was recently voted the best in Britain and the nightlife is excellent with a huge choice of entertainment on offer.
