Highgate Academy provides accommodation services for students:

• College Accommodation
• Homestay Accommodation
• Alternative Accommodation

College Accommodation

Highgate Academy has a number of student properties available. This is twin room accommodation in properties located within walking distance of the academy. Students wishing to share a room with a particular friend must make this request know at least three weeks in advance of their arrival in England. Rooms will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Students wishing to stay in this accommodation will have to pay a deposit up front and sign a contract agreeing to the terms stated by Highgate Academy for use of the property. Any damages to the property will be deducted from the deposit.

Homestay Accommodation

Highgate Academy has a large number of homestays willing to look after students during their studies. Highgate Academy will contribute to the rent due for homestays although students may be expected to pay for their food and utility bills. Homestays will provide everything required by the student and give them an insight into the British way of life. Meals will be taken at the Homestay. Special Dietary needs should be specified in advance of arrival in England.

Alternative Accommodation

Should you wish not to accept residence in the student accommodation or with a homestay, then it will be your responsibility to find accommodation during your studies. You will have to pay all rent, bills and food costs. Highgate Academy will not contribute to alternative accommodation costs.
