Incoming freshman may be eligible for Academic Scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $8,000. The deadline to be considered for Academic Scholarships is January 15. Please check our website for more details about merit-based and academic scholarships here. These scholarships are available to all incoming Freshmen. Eligibility is based on cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale or 20 ACT composite or 1000 SAT (evidence based reading and writing plus math) scores. No additional application is required and scholarship is renewable each year if all criteria are met.

The BG Success Scholarship is available to all incoming Freshmen. Eligibility is based on cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, and there is no deadline for BG Success Scholarship.
BGSU guarantees undergraduate students who complete the Falcon Internship Preparation Program, and meet the required criteria, the opportunity to participate in an internship or other experiential learning activity.
