Kadir Has University (KHAS)

Sabina Jafarova, Full-time graduate student from Azerbaijan

I discovered that Kadir Has University has lots of opportunities for students in their future career and self-development. I am happy to be a part of this institution. It is the most complete pleasure and confidence to study here and to be in the center of plenty of activities, especially in the New Media industry. KadirHas University is an education brand in Turkey and I wish everyone to be a part of this brand.

Kadir Has University is located near the Golden Horn and from the university there is an amazing view of the city. The campus is beautiful. I can't forget my first impression: I was astonished by the crowded places; I loved the beautiful historical views and the food... I'm happy that I chose to be here for a year. In Turkey, I get the chance to study, meet new people and I learn the Turkish culture better. Overall, I love Istanbul and the busy life here.”

I really enjoyed my time at Kadir Has, in Istanbul.  I am blessed to have spent the semester surrounded by such caring, challenging professors and classmates that mentored me in economics and in learning about Turkey.  I consistently found myself in classroom discussions that demanded my full attention, and encouraged my studies. From my perspective, my classes were truly heterodox, which allowed me to learn a variety of different economic tools, and the ability to choose which fit for me and which did not fit.  How valuable! I also loved the wide variety of seminars the economics department hosted this semester!
