The Brayford Pool Campus has facilities designed for the subject-specific needs of students. Editing and recording suites, industry-standard production facilities, modern studios and well-equipped workshops are available for those studying arts-based subjects, while students in engineering and computing have access to laboratories, workshops and the latest equipment and technology. Science students have access to specialist equipment and cutting-edge laboratories at our Science and Innovation Park.

About Lincoln


Lincoln is a great, safe and student-centred city with a winning combination of a vibrant city centre and its historic quarter, both with a broad range of cultural activities and venues make Lincoln a fantastic environment in which to live and study.

Historically Lincoln is one of the most fascinating in Europe. As home to one of the finest medieval cathedrals in Europe, the Magna Carta in Lincoln Castle and other historical sites dating back to Roman times there is much to explore from the past.

In the present, the city offers brilliant shopping (including the famous Lincoln Christmas Market) and vibrant arts, entertainment and culture to match any tastes.

Lincoln is also within easy access of other cities including London, Nottingham, Sheffield and Leeds, with good rail and road links. London Kings Cross station is two hours away by train.

Student Life at the University of Lincoln


Aside from the excellent teaching the University offers everything needed for a great student life on campus.

The University of Lincoln has a widely respected and active Students' Union providing support and opportunities to students including a wide-range of activities.

From American Football to Wakeboarding, the aim of the Sports and Societies on offer through the Students' Union is to bring together those with common interests and facilitate them in pursuing a hobby or activity they are interested in.

With over 2,000 students actively involved with over 150 different Sports and Societies there is something for everyone.

Also on campus are The Engine Shed (the city's biggest venue which has hosted the likes of Kings of Leon, Dizzee Rascal, Florence and the Machine, and Russell Kane), Tower Bars and the Lincoln Performing Arts Centre, providing students with live music, comedy and theatre on their doorstep.

The modern student accommodation sits alongside the waterfront and offers a idyllic setting for student life.

The Students' Union and University also offer a full range of support services to help students with any problems or concerns they have whilst attending the University of Lincoln. No student at the University is without support if they need it.
International Scholarships
