The University of Wisconsin–Superior
The University of Wisconsin–Superior is a public university located in Superior, Wisconsin.
UW-Superior provides a challenging academic environment where dedicated professors work with students in a culture of growth, energy, research and respect.

Founded in 1893, UW-Superior offers challenging academic programs which include 45 undergraduate majors and concentrations in business, humanities, the arts, natural sciences, and education, along with individually designed majors and minors. The university is nationally recognized as a College of Distinction and a member of the University of Wisconsin System, one of the largest and strongest public university systems in the United States.

Campus

UW-Superior's campus is set in a residential neighborhood that is minutes away from the amenities of a dynamic medium-sized city and the beauty of Lake Superior, the largest lake in the world.

Personal Attention – The average class at UW-Superior has fewer than 20 students, which allows students to get a level of individualized interaction with faculty that is often unavailable at larger universities. All UW-Superior courses are taught by professors or instructors, unlike many U.S. universities where many undergraduate courses are taught by post-graduate students.

Diversity & Support – UW-Superior has the highest percentage of international undergraduate students in the region, with 160 international students from 37 countries among our campus community. They are supported by experienced, professional and friendly staff in the Office of International Programs.

Career Preparation – The combination of a well-rounded liberal arts education and solid professional training prepares students for graduate schools and successful careers. In the latest study, more than 97% of recent graduates were either employed or enrolled graduate school twelve months after earning their UW-Superior degree.

Financial Assistance for International Students – More than 90% of admitted international students are generally awarded financial assistance of between $5,600 to $7,500 per year through the Non-resident Tuition Waiver (NTW) Program.

Faculty

With an average class size of less than 20, students get a high level of interaction and support from faculty and staff.
