Study in Bristol, and find the best universities in Bristol.

Bristol might just be the trendiest city in Britain right now. Despite its small stature, Bristol packs a big punch. Whether it’s the way its crumbling docks have been rebuilt and gentrified, the cutting edge nightlife and music scene, or the growing local food produce.

Home to icons as diverse as engineering legend Isambard Kingdom Brunel and graffiti artist Banksy, Bristol is known for its ability to inspire. Studying an undergraduate degree in Bristol could be your ticket to fame and fortune too.

Accommodation and living costs

Most undergraduate students choose to live in university halls of residence, as this allows them to settle into student life easily and make friends quickly.

If you do decide to look for your own private accommodation,  then the main areas that students tend to live in include cheap Clifton and the more upmarket Bedminster and Hotwells.

Student accommodation in Bristol is comparable to most major cities in the UK. Expect to pay around £250-£300 for a single room in a private three bedroom house.
