FAFS is organized into three departments that offer outstanding undergraduate and many graduate programs in various disciplines. The departments of Agriculture, Landscape Design and Ecosystem Management, and Nutrition and Food Sciences.
At FAFS, we promote interdisciplinary educational programs and we encourage students to think holistically outside narrow disciplines and seek collaboration and partnership with other Faculties. This is evident in our interfaculty programs and in the collaborative research we conduct.
Researchers and students at the Faculty are involved in international collaborations that span the globe. Much of the region's pioneering work in nutrition and dietetics, food science and technology, landscape, environment and natural resource management, and community and rural development has been conducted by FAFS faculty and students in fields and laboratories.
The undergraduate Nutrition and Dietetics Coordinated Program (NDCP) at the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences is accredited by ACEND (Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics). The NDCP is the first program in Lebanon and the MENA region and the 3rd worldwide to be accredited by ACEND outside the US territories.
Offering degrees in the humanities, natural sciences, quantitative thought and social sciences, in addition to four PhD programs (in Arabic Language and Literature; Arab and Middle Eastern History; Cell and Molecular Biology; and Theoretical Physics this faculty offers world-respected teaching in arts and science.

The Faculty of Engineering and Architecture (FEA) is the leading school in the Middle East offering undergraduate and graduate programs contributing to the advancement of the engineering and architecture knowledge through teaching and research, and providing services to the community at large, while addressing the needs of Lebanon and the region.
All degrees are accredited by the US-based Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, Inc.. ABET is an internationally recognised accreditor of college and university programs in applied science, computing, engineering, and technology. The accreditation demonstrates a program’s commitment to providing its students with quality education.
FHS provides students with multiple opportunities for interaction with committed faculty members, who are actively engaged in research, practice, and community service activities. Our professors take an interest in their students; follow their progress; and assist them in academic and professional matters alike.
Through its educational, research, and professional practice programs, FHS aims to prepare students of Lebanon and the region in the field of public health and health professions.

The Rafic Hariri School of Nursing (HSON) aspires to become the leading school of nursing in Lebanon and the region; nationally and internationally recognized for excellence in education, research, and service. The school is committed to offering cutting-edge culturally relevant and internationally recognized graduate and undergraduate education, fostering life-long learning and scholarship, developing the leaders in nursing and health care, and attracting a competent and culturally-diverse student body.
The Mission of the HSON s to promote and maintain the highest educational standards of excellence, integrity, and professionalism in nursing, following the American model of nursing education and practice. The School aims to provide learning opportunities that will enable students to develop into competent nurses who respect cultural diversity while coordinating and delivering high quality, compassionate nursing care in Lebanon and the region, guided by ethical principles. The faculty believes education is an interactive process between faculty and students with both taking responsibility for active learning.
The undergraduate and master's programs at the HSON are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). HSON is the first school to be accredited by CCNE outside the US territories
The BBA program is for university entrants focused on translating their thinking and interests into career opportunities in business. The program combines business and arts and sciences in a rigorous learning environment to help students gain a holistic understanding of the social, cultural and economic environment in which they operate. The curriculum's liberal arts-based operational focus is deeply grounded in analytics, while emphasizing soft skill areas such as leadership, decision-making and ethical reasoning.
After becoming the first business school in Lebanon and the hundredth in the world to be accredited by AACSB International – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) – in April 2009, OSB is now internationally recognized as being among the top 5% of business schools worldwide. OSB continues to sharpen its focus on pursuing high quality research, excellence in the design and delivery of academic programs, academic innovation and continuous improvement.
