You will be taught and supported by staff with extensive links within their disciplines and leading subject knowledge. The international office is on hand to support you pre-arrival and during your time on campus and arrange regular social activities and event. An orientation week is designed to help international students settle in and make friends. There is a wide range of sports clubs and societies open to all students and are an ideal way to meet like-minded people.
The Lake District
All Undergraduate international students are guaranteed accommodation on campus as long as application deadlines are met. Our Halls of Residence are at the heart of a vibrant on-campus community, providing a safe environment in which new students can live, study and socialise. With all bills included they offer excellent value for money and you will find everything you need is just a few minutes walk from your room. Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements for undergraduate study, may be eligible to join our one year International Foundation Programme.

If you have an IELTS score (overall or in any sub-skill) which is half a band lower than the required entry level for your degree, you can join the 8 week Pre-sessional English course before your degree programme.
Entry requirements:
Please check our website for academic entry requirements for each programme; this ranges from the equivalent of 112 – 120 UCAS points.

Tuition Fees:
Pre-sessional English Programme: £315 per week
International Foundation Programme: £8,600
Undergraduate programme: £11,800
International Foundation Scholarship:
One scholarship worth up to £1,200 towards the tuition fees of the International Foundation Programmewill be awarded based on academic merit. Successful students will be notified on their offer letter, with the award being made at the universities discretion.

All students who progress successfully from the International Foundation Programme onto a full Undergraduate Degree will receive a £3,975 scholarship towards the first year of their Undergraduate Tuition fees. Successful students will be notified on their offer letter, with the award being made at the university’s discretion.

Undergraduate Development Scholarship:
This scholarship is for students starting an Undergraduate (Bachelor’s) degree and is worth up to £1,200 towards the first year tuition fees. Successful students will be notified on their offer letter, with the award being made at the university’s discretion.
