Established in 1882, the University of Findlay has nearly 60 undergraduate programs of study leading to baccalaureate degrees and offers 11 master's degrees and four doctoral degrees. More than 3,800 students from approximately 40 countries are enrolled at Findlay. With an international student population of nearly 350, Findlay's campus offers global experiences to students from all over the world. In addition, our faculty and staff strive to create a supportive community in which our students grow and find their path to a meaningful life and productive career. Our six academic colleges include the College of Business; Education; Health Professions; Liberal Arts; Pharmacy; and Sciences.
At Findlay, we believe that the experiences students have outside of a traditional classroom play a significant role in preparing them for a meaningful life and productive career. Students may participate in any of nearly 100 student organizations, including special interest clubs, student media, student government, performing arts groups, service clubs, academic honorary organizations, spiritual life groups and Greek sororities and fraternities. Club sports and 18 intramural sports keep the competitive spirit alive on campus.
The fine arts flourish on campus with a variety of theatre productions, art exhibits and vocal and instrumental music concerts that offer creative outlets and training for students. The University of Findlay participates in 24 intercollegiate sports and is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II. Both equestrian teams are members of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association.
The Office of International Admissions and Immigration Services at University of Findlay is here to help our international students with everything from obtaining their I-20 and preparing for their visa interview, to picking them up from the airport and helping them get settled on campus and in the community. Our specially-trained staff is here to help make the transition to studying in the United States as easy as possible.
The University of Findlay offers scholarships specifically for international students ranging from $2,000 a program for some of our graduate programs, to $15,000 a year for undergraduate students. In addition, our MBA and Master’s of Science in Environmental, Safety and Health Management Programs offer free text books.
