Unique Learning Opportunities
University of Toronto students learning about fishStudents have the opportunity to enroll in our First Year Foundations: The Ones Programs, which focus on the arts, sciences, and business. These programs offer students dynamic, for-credit learning experiences in small-group environments that build community and foster critical skills and creativity. First-year seminar courses, with no more than 24 students each, allow you to engage deeply with your students and your peers.

Employment Opportunities
Non-Canadian students studying at U of T are able to work in Canada and gain valuable global experience while studying. After graduation, international students also have the opportunity to stay and work in Canada for up to three years. This means that graduates can choose to bring home what they learned in Toronto or stay in Canada for three more years to continue to grow their global careers. And our students have valuable skills and qualities for the modern economy — University of Toronto alumni rank among the top in the world for their global employability.

Our students can play intramural inner tube water polo after class, work a shift at Caffiends, a student-run coffee shop between classes, compete with the Academic Trivia Club, and volunteer with our chapter of UNICEF.
