A Different Style of Teaching
With a Scandinavian approach to teaching, our students will experience problem-based learning and group work, participate in research and innovation activities and gain hands-on experience through internships. We offer small-size classes where our students are expected to actively engage and exchange ideas. Our teaching environment is informal and based on mutual respect with easy access to lecturers and staff.

Research, development and entrepreneurship are integrated parts of our programmes. For several years, VIA has been named the most entrepreneurial university institution in Denmark with 25% of students participating in innovation activities.

Denmark and Career Opportunities
DenmarkDenmark is a part of Scandinavia in the north of Europe. It is a small green country of 5.5 million inhabitants, where you are never more than 50 km from the sea. Danish is the native language, but 80% of the population speaks English. Denmark is known for being one of the world’s safest and least corrupt countries with a unique welfare system and a high environmental quality.

The Danish labour market is calling for skilled work and is looking to hire international talents. Therefore, VIA University College is working on several initiatives to prepare our international students for a career in Denmark by facilitating opportunities such as free Danish language classes, internships in Denmark and 1:1 career guidance.

VIA University College – and Denmark in general – is therefore a place where you can feel confident and secure about your choice to study abroad.
